Friday Favorites #52
Happy Friday, friends!
It feels as if we skipped fall and went straight to winter this week in New Jersey. With the low temperatures, came digging out my winter jacket.
More on the Jersey front, we elected a new Governor, and if you read anything about the elections it was all around a success in many places.

More on the Jersey front, we elected a new Governor, and if you read anything about the elections it was all around a success in many places.
- Hoboken Elects a Sikh Mayor
- Danica Roem, a transgender, who defeated an incumbent candidate who sponsored the anti-transgender bathroom bill.
- Chris Hurst, lost his girlfriend in a shooting, wins seat in Virginia.
If the elections showed us anything this week, it's that every person has a voice, and if we each continue to use it, we can be powerful and make changes. Small changes, but changes at that.
Friday Favorites is going to look a little different. I am trying out a new theme within the series and I hope you will enjoy it!
Drink
History of Mimosa; and let me tell you, I almost always order a mimosa at brunch. See here, here and here. Excited for brunch on Sunday!
See
I will be in NYC next week and am already planning on waiting on line to see this exhibit. I have a few podcasts on my phone since the wait is anywhere between 2-4 hours. Check out this review! I will report back!
Watch
Talk about a young driven talented chef and you nee to watch A Matter of Taste. If you have a passion for great food, this is a must watch.
Buy
For every sister, girlfriend, wife or friend that loves Lattes! I plan to live in this all winter long.
