Restaurant Review: Cafe Paris

Café Paris is located in downtown Metuchen, New Jersey. Whether you are local to the state or visiting it's easy to access. You can take New Jersey Transit from Penn Station in New York City to the Metuchen stop and it's a quick 5 minute walk or take the train from Penn to MetroPark and grab an Uber for no more then $15. There is another location in Cranford, New Jersey as well!

The downtown area is filled with a bunch of cute shops and restaurants. As someone who loves to write about travel and daydreams about her next trip, I figured if I couldn't get to Paris anytime soon, Café Paris would have to do. The inside decorations and vibe didn't disappoint.

Being that they open at 10am everyday I arrived a few minutes early, to find a metered parking spot on the street right across from the restaurant. The goal for arriving early was two-fold, 1) to get some great pictures and 2) get a seat near the window! Being that the restaurant had free WiFi and breakfast!

From the minute you walk in and greeted by the friendly staff to the minute you leave you will feel like you are in Paris. There are painted murals on the wall, small Eiffel Tower statues throughout, and the French twist on the food, it's all so magical!

From my corner table by the bay window I was had a full view of the restaurant as well as see the people on the street peak their heads in. The signs that say "Paris" or "Eiffel Tower" throughout the restaurant give it an extra touch!

Café Paris is committed to using locally sourced products, making them a unique restaurant in Metuchen. Many of the ingredients are hand picked from a local farmer's market that morning. Being locally sourced, means a fresher and healthier tasting meal. With that said you get a delicious, locally sourced meal while dining with a view of a local street in Paris! What could be better?

What is your favorite restaurant?
