THE MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE PLACES IN NEW YORK CITY
Charge your phones. Charge your battery pack. Grab your camera. Stock up your memory cards. Once those tasks are accomplished pack your bags and hit the ground running in New York City, my favorite city. OK, I may be bias as I call NYC home, but really it is one magical city.
Pietro Nolita- The cute "Pink" Italian restaurant. The next visit I am actually going to try the restaurant; however they don't take reservations, so plan to wait. The best part of waiting would be having a photo-shoot!
Stone Street - Located in lower Manhattan this cobblestone street is one of the oldest in NYC. "Stone street historic district" is home to several restaurants and bars with outdoor dining, weather permitting and is pedestrian only.
Grand Central Terminal- Not just a major transportation hub, but a shopping, dining and cultural destination located in Midtown. It's one of the most-visited destinations in New York City, only second to Times Square ( Having working near there and being a local, it's never a fun place to be. It won't make this list, but if your visiting NYC for the first time, just take a peak at Times Square.)
Central Park- Where there a few notable places to visit in this rather large park in the middle of Manhattan. Get your walking shoes on and make sure you cover the entire park, it may take you a while. You can also rent a bike and ride through the park making stops along the way.
A few places I would put on your list: Belvedere Castle, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Bow Bridge, Gapstow Bridge, Central Park Zoo, and Bethesda Fountain.
High Line- Built above ground on an old freight line (Subway track) this beautiful park runs from the Meatpacking district to 34th street! Walk through the gardens, savor delicious eats, view some amazing art and connect with friends in this unique park!
Some additional spots I would recommend:
I'm here to share some photogenic spots throughout the city! All of these photos were shot with my Canon Rebel xTi or my iPhone 8 plus.
Chelsea Market - My favorite food hall in New York City. Eat & Shoot your way through this block long and wide establishment.
