Tri-State Area Holiday Activities

It's November 1st, and to many the official kickoff to the holiday season. Let the decorating commence. Start the ovens and get to backing those homemade cookies.

It's a magical and whimsical time of the year! The holidays are officially here and whether or not you have started decorating your place one thing is for sure, there are so many attractions to see. I have compiled a list local places I plan to visit "tis" holiday season!

The Winter Village at Bryant Park. Below you can see them setting up the ice skating rink last year. This year they opened on October 29th!

Every year the major department stores decorate their windows. I loved Saks Fifth Ave last year. Another favorite is always Lord & Taylor!

You can't miss the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center. The best time to go is Christmas Eve around 11pm. Be prepared for crowds whenever you go.

Some other events in the Tri-State area are the following:

Dkyer Heights Christmas Lights in Brooklyn.

Holiday Light Spectacular- At the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, NJ. There is no fee and all they ask is you make a Food or Clothing Donation.

Union Square Holiday Market- Holiday market located in Union Square filled with local craftsman, delicious bites, and live music!

What events are you looking forward to this holiday season?

XoXo,
Tracy
