The Happiest Hour in Hells Kitchen at Gyu-Kaku
If you are anything like me and love a good Happy Hour, you need to check out Gyu-Kaku in New York City. The Hells Kitchen location is the only one I have visited, multiple times actually. I am a firm believer in always checking out a new place, don't visit the same one twice, but Gyu-Kaku is different.
Their Early & Late Happy Hours are what makes them stand out in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan and draws large crowds all day long.
Early Happy Hour is everyday from 11:30am-6pm. Yes, EVERYDAY!!!!
Late Happy Hour is everyday from 9:30pm -11:00pm( Last Call)
The top two appetizers I highly recommend are the Chili Shrimp Shumai and the Tuna Poke Nachos both on the Happy Hour Menu. The Chili Shrimp Shumai is a new item recently added and is refreshing on a hot summer day with the citrus ponzu and crunchy garlic sauce. The four pieces can be shared among two people.
Tuna Poke Nachos are delicious and the perfect match for the Mango Tango. They are also a "new" item on the menu and one I don't see leaving anytime soon. With fresh marinated tuna sashimi cubes, creamy avocado, seaweed salad, in yuzu basil aioli and sweet teriyaki sauce this is a great light starter.
Whether you are looking for Japanese BBQ, refreshing cocktails, or simple appetizers Gyu-Kaku is the place for you. Easy access to all the Broadway theatres, near Time Square, and the perfect location for date night.
Next time you're on the search for an all-day Happy Hour make sure it's on your list.
